Providing REAL healthcare to REAL people
Finding the best healthcare to suit your needs can be extremely overwhelming. Simply Southern Chiropractic Center strives to provide our patients with top quality patient care led by our founder, Dr. Mary Frances Duncan.

What is your educational background?
“I attended Furman University and majored in Political Science. I was also a member of organizations such as Tri Delta, and Fellowship of Chrisitan Athletes. After finishing my undergraduate degree, I decided that my true passion was to help others to feel their best. With that, I decided to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida and obtain my Doctor of Chiropractic degree. From there, I founded Simply Southern Chiropractic Center in 2015.”
What’s your philosophy?
“ Instead of using a “one size fits all” approach, my team and I spend time with each patient to determine the care each individual needs. My philosophy is to correct the root problems that are affecting my patients—not just to provide short-term solutions. I want my patients to feel better faster, but more importantly, for longer. In fact my favorite quote is “Do all the good you can. By all the means you can. In all the ways you can. In all the places you can. At all the times you can. To all the people you can. As long as you ever can”
I love good food and supporting my local farm-to-table restaurants. I think it’s crucial to support local businesses. I also love to stay home and eat anything my husband makes; he’s a great cook! I am also passionate about traveling. Some of my favorite places include San Francisco, The Grand Hotel in Point Clear Alabama, and anywhere along the North Carolina coast. It is true what they say: there is nothing finer than a day in Carolina.
1. If you could meet anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
Taylor Swift. She’s truly an inspiration to me since she is around my age and she is running a multi-billion dollar business. As a business woman myself, I really look up to her.
2. What is one thing you can’t live without?
My computer. As a business woman, I am always working and building my business.
3. Three words that describe you best?
Drive, hardworking, and motivated.
“Simply Southern is unlike any medical practice I have ever visited. My wife, my children, and I have been regulars for two years now. The waiting environment is clean and peaceful, though there is rarely any wait. Appointments progress smoothly, and if there is any need to pause between phases, the staff always keep me informed and offer things like heating pads while I wait. The staff are always friendly and conversational; I feel like I have gotten to know each of them, and my children love seeing them. I can see that they make everything run like clockwork, yet I never feel rushed. Simply Southern has made an enormous difference in our quality of life.”

“Dr. Duncan and her entire team are meticulous in planning. It amazes me how smoothly everything flows within the office. When you come in, they are always smiling and know your name. Sometimes going to a chiropractor can be short and expensive. NOT HERE! They are willing to work and get each person a plan that is best for their body and budget. Every visit is full. If you are waiting, sometimes they will get you a warm shoulder wrap or send you to the massage table. Another thing I love is how all the workers love working there. They are also very skilled because of classes they take to learn new techniques or brush up. I have always been impressed and never disappointed by Simply Southern Chiropractic! What are you waiting for?”
– Mary T.
“I have been a patient at Simply Southern for 3 years now. I always have a phenomenal experience every visit. Dr. Duncan and Dr. Bremerman have incredible bedside manners and make sure to listen to all my concerns so they can treat me to the best of their ability. I suffered from migraines for years and I no longer have them. My back is in the best shape ever and I feel fantastic!”
