Meet Our Doctors
Mary Frances Duncan, D.C.
Dr. Mary Frances Duncan is a native of Greer, South Carolina, and a Furman University alum, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. After receiving her degree, Dr. Duncan realized her true passion was for serving others in healthcare. Having gone to a chiropractor regularly while growing up, Dr. Duncan made the decision to spend her life helping patients lead healthier lives using a forward-thinking approach, just as her chiropractor had done for her. After her undergraduate studies at Furman, Dr. Duncan attended the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida, where she obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree.

Frequently Asked Questions
What happens during a first chiropractic visit?
Your first visit begins with a thorough consultation and exam to understand your health history and symptoms. The chiropractor reviews your concerns, may take diagnostic imaging if needed, and then builds a personalized care plan tailored to your specific conditions, before any treatment begins.
How much does chiropractic care cost in Greenville?
Chiropractic costs in Greenville vary based on your treatment plan, the services you require, and whether you use insurance. Many plans cover chiropractic care, and Simply Southern Chiropractic Center reviews your coverage and discusses fees up front so there are no surprises. Contact the office for specific rates and pricing.
What conditions can a chiropractor treat besides back pain?
Chiropractic care addresses a wide range of musculoskeletal and nerve-related concerns. Staff at Simply Southern regularly treat neck pain, sciatica, bulging or herniated disc discomfort, tension headaches and migraines, pregnancy-related musculoskeletal pain, and peripheral neuropathy symptoms, with each plan built around the underlying cause.
What is the difference between laser therapy and a chiropractic adjustment?
A chiropractic adjustment is a manual or instrument-assisted technique that targets joint alignment and movement, while laser therapy (photobiomodulation) uses focused light to support tissue recovery and reduce discomfort. The two are often combined in a therapy plan: an adjustment addresses spinal mechanics, and laser therapy supports the surrounding soft tissue.
Is chiropractic care safe during pregnancy, and do you treat children?
Yes, Simply Southern offers prenatal chiropractic care using the Webster technique, a method designed to support comfort and pelvic balance during pregnancy. We also provide gentle, age-appropriate care for children. Techniques are always selected to suit the patient’s stage of life, condition, and comfort, and are performed by licensed providers with pediatric and prenatal certification.
Is Simply Southern Chiropractic Center accepting new patients in Greenville?
Yes, the Greenville office is currently accepting new patients of all ages. You can book a new-patient appointment online or call 864-791-4014 to schedule, and same-day appointments are often available.
